Margo Roll
Award winning artist Margo Roll has exhibited in Louisiana, Vermont, Michigan, Maryland, New Jersey and the Washington D.C. area.
Margo is originally from the shores of Long Island, New York. Fascinated by the simplistic beauty of Louisiana, Margo has captured many of its subjects on canvas. She has traveled and painted realistic landscapes and their subjects throughout the United States, Canada, Central America and Panama.
During her climb to prominence, Margo studied with 58 renowned artists from the east coast to California. Margo, often sought after, attended technical art workshops. Maintaining constant exposure with other dedicated artists interested in continued professionalism is beneficial to both Margo and her students.
Margo diversified in oil, acrylic, and watercolor media has also received acclaim for realistic pen and ink graphics, which hang in the offices and homes of many prominent citizens. Some of Margo’s artwork hangs in the offices of Boise, Bayne Jones Army Hospital, Fort Polk located in the visitor’s lobby and the administration offices. Her work is also on display in many other offices here in Louisiana and other states.
Margo has been teaching art for the past 32 years to adults and children. Many of her students have won awards and pursued further art education. Margo has great satisfaction in sharing her God-given talent with others.
